Indonesia - Indonesia NewLOOK 2D Seismic Survey

In 2005, Fugro and Searcher Seismic, acquired and processed the Indonesia NewLOOK 2D seismic survey (2,366 kms). This dataset has revealed the existence of possible Mesozoic to Tertiary aged sediments with high potential for the generation and trapping of hydrocarbons.

This dataset in conjunction with the Gorontalo Seismic Survey, which infills the regional lines of the NewLOOK survey, provides a good insight into a hitherto unknown sedimentary basin.
