Fugro is currently acquiring the Zeester 3D consisting of ~4,250 km2 in the Roebuck Basin, Western Australia. The Roebuck Basin is one of the least explored offshore regions of the North West Shelf. The Zeester 3D survey is designed to target numerous north-south oriented structures in the west and also cover the Bedout High structure in the north. This survey will compliment recently acquired 2D tie lines from the Phoenix 3D acquisition which highlighted a number of potential exploration targets.

Fugro Multi Client Services has recently acquiried ~1,100 km2 of new 3D seismic data offshore Western Australia, over the Phoenix gas discovery.
The blocks lie in an underexplored area between the prolific Carnarvon Basin hydrocarbon province to the southwest and the Browse Basin to the northeast. The area has potential for large reserves of recoverable gas, to date only six wells have been drilled in the area.
